Designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla hosted an OTT-themed party to unveil their latest fashion film Mera Noor Hai Mashhoor starring Huma Qureshi at The Mansion, Rustomjee Elements Juhu. Being the first fashion film, with VFX, it features 4 indulgent looks for each model, making it a display of more than 150 garments curated from 18 collections handcrafted by Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. This is the most ambitious AJSK production where more than 300 people from many walks of life gathered at a 15000 square foot space
The décor had lush greens as backdrops and a hint of the ruins which feature in the fashion film with the highlight being an installation of designed gold masks which feature in the film. The memo for the night was an ode to living life to the fullest, living without fear of being judged. Celebrities from showbiz made their special appearance dressed in the designer’s label. While some kept it sleek and elegant others went all OTT with their picks. Check out some notable looks from this fashion soiree!
ABU JANI SANDEEP KHOSLA
Starting the list with men of the moment, the designer duo lived up to their own memo and were dressed for the do. While Sandeep kept things stylish with his golden embellished shirt and trousers, Abu opted for a kaftan look and accessorized it with chunky silver jewels, lacy gloves and diamond bracelets. His look was completed with a cool pair of sunnies layered with a net mesh mask.
RADHIKA MERCHANT
The would-be-Ambani bahu Radhika Merchant opted for an elegant yet glamorous saree with a ruffled pallu. Her look was put together with a tassled and sequined blouse whose sweetheart neckline was accentuated with a diamond choker. Although, the highlight of her look was her luxe and super expensive Hermes Kelly arm candy.
UORFI JAVED
AJSK’s recent muse, Uorfi oozed Aphrodite vibes in a pre-stitched red saree paired with a mesh ruby-stoned naked blouse. That headgear and those danglers added to her ‘Geek Goddess’ look.
NEETU KAPOOR
Neetu exuded elegance in a powdered green knee-length anarkali teamed with short satin palazzo pants. The short-haired bob and the understated glamour were the icing on the cake.
SONALI BENDRE BEHL
Sonali too, opted for an elegant glamour wearing a heavily embroidered, mirror-embellished signature AJSK anarkali, teamed with a sparkly potli bag. The purple-hued dress with bold lips and textured curls, accentuated the beauty of this OG diva.
SHWETA BACHCHAN
Shweta opted for an OTT shimmer look dressed in a high-neck gown cinched at the waist by a shiny leather belt. Her look was completed with pointy bling heels, diamond danglers and a Chanel drawstring bag. Those bold red lips, matte glam and a chic updo did justice to her beauty.
AYESHA KANGA
Ayesha put on a show of colours in a tulle gown with a multicoloured striped bodice and statement sleeves. Those colourful danglers put together her look.
KUSHA KAPILA
Kusha looked vibrant dressed in colourful separates layered with an intricately detailed jacket.
BABIL KHAN
Babil probably wore the riskiest and quite quirkiest look for the eve by layering his multicoloured striped gown with an embellished black jacket.
