Content creator and model Alanna Panday married her longtime beau Ivor McCray in a beautiful white wedding on Thursday, March 16, in presence of family and friends. The pre-wedding festivities kickstarted around March 10 with her bridal shower and lasted for almost a week.
By the looks of the pictures circulating online and posted by the bride herself, it won’t be wrong to say that this wedding has ushered in some new bridal trends. Dedicating a set theme for each of the festivities, the fashionista meticulously planned out each look with an unconventional spin. THE ‘ALL-WHITE’ BRIDAL BRUNCH
Keeping things classy, Alanna opted for a white-themed bridal brunch where she looked absolutely gorgeous in a pearl-embedded and lacy, short bridal dress and elevated it with subtle glam and soft romantic curls.
Her look was completed with a delicate veil on her head.
THE ‘TROPICAL RAINFOREST’ MEHENDI
For the tropical rainforest-themed mehendi, Alanna was a vision to behold in a nature-inspired Rahul Mishra custom lehenga. The bird bralette with golden embellishments and feathers was an absolute show stealer! Keeping things in balance, Alanna teamed her maximalist outfit with a subtle glam and minimal jewels. She styled her long, lustrous mane in pretty braids and romantic curls. The mehendi too, was a minimalist design on her fingers and wrists.
THE ‘PIAZZA DEL MERCATO’ HALDI
For the haldi function, based on the theme of the Italian Farmer’s market, Piazza Del Mercato, Alanna chose a boho look in Payal Singhal palazzo set with all the pretty tasseled doris. Her outfit was accentuated by floral Haldi jewels ft. chaand balis and a maang tika. She opted for a dewy glam and a volume-adding chic ponytail to go with this look.
THE ‘WHITE WHISPERS’ WEDDING
Taking a full-throttle unconventional route, the bride opted for a pristine white lehenga hand-embroidered with intricate floral motifs with borders in delicate threadwork, crystals, pearls, and sequins from Manish Malhotra to go with her nature-inspired ‘White Whispers’ wedding theme.
Keeping in mind the groom’s culture, Alanna’s chikankari lehenga bore a sheer white dupatta that served as a veil. Not taking much from her outfit, the bride paired her look with minimal jewels and understated glamour.
