Romantic and utterly feminine was the Summer of Love from Gabriella Demetriades of Deme label fame at Lakm Fashion Week x FDCI at Jio World Convention Centre. It was a trendy tale of the sleek sophistication of Ferrari-inspired detailing, along with the delicate beauty of lace and organza, silk, satin and suede. The hues on view were beige, off-white, butter yellow, rose, baby pink, olive, brown, grey and black. Shimmering gold added drama to the mesh, while fringe detailing brought a flirty appeal.

Closing the show was influencer Sakshi S dressed in a sheer/solid, black, long-sleeved creation with a hip-high slit.

Following this happy show was the Urban Prairie collection by Ranna Gill, a fusion of city glamour and earthy charm. The collection unveiled a medley of prints, textures, colours, paying homage to the captivating interplay of urban sophistication and natural beauty. It was an embodiment of freshness infused with refined elegance. Live music added to the flavour. 

And there was a roar in the packed house as Madhuri Dixit Nene walked down the runway in a shimmering, three-piece, sharply cut suit with bouquets of flowers and a subtle shimmer splashed all over.
