Bollywood, earlier today morning, lost one of its finest gems Irrfan to neuroendocrine tumour. The blackest day in the history of cine fraternity, the loss is immeasurable. The actor who put forth a strong battle against neuroendocrine tumour for nearly two years now, was admitted to the Kokilaben Ambani hospital in Mumbai yesterday for colon infection. Irrfan's health had been deteriorating at an alarming speed in the last few days. He was put on the ventilator and was closely monitored by the doctors. Unfortunately, a couple of days before, his mother Saeeda Begum passed away in Jaipur and the actor couldn't attend the funeral.

Quirky, endearing and all things lovable, Irrfan in Piku was like ink to pen. As Rana Chaudhary, a person who runs a taxi business, Irrfan was classy, massy and enjoyable. Well, if a remake of Piku is made, nobody can ever touch his role and match to the purity.
