With the norms of social distancing in place, people all over the country are celebrating the much-awaited ‘Garba fest’ of Navratri in spirit by flaunting the dedicated hue for the day. While we certainly cannot take part in the dandiya nights, we can surely doll up for the aartis and celebrate the triumph of good over evil this festive season.

Green, being the colour for the second day of the nine-day fest this year, symbolizes growth, fertility, peace and serenity. Dedicated to Maa Brahmacharini it also represents nature and it is believed that wearing this colour today brings harmony to the lives of the devotees.
