Ever since makers Karan Johar and Shakun Batra dropped the much-anticipated trailer of Gehraiyaan starring Deepika Padukone, Siddhant Chaturvedi, Ananya Panday and Dhairya Karwa in lead roles we cannot help but wait for this romantic drama to release on Amazon Prime on February 11. Dwelling deeper into the lives of Zain (Siddhant), Tia (Ananya), Alisha (Deepika) and Dhairya (Karan), this film explores the nuances of modern and complex relationships in today’s era.
Apart from its interesting storyline, what caught our attention were the leading ladies' sartorial choices. Filmed majorly in Mumbai and Alibaug, both Deepika and Ananya have flaunted casual as well as hot bikini looks. Take a look at the costumes that made it to the film’s trailer.
MUTED MONOTONES
Underlining the subtlety of characters, one can spot muted tones in the trailer. Deepika has sported a lot of monotone outfits in black, white, beige and occasional greys.
Her conflicted personality which seems as if she is trying to break free comes to the fore with her choice of bralettes and monochrome colours paired with oversized T-shirts and shrugs.
Ananya has a bit of a floral and printed touch but she is seen sporting pastel hues too in the trailer. Her outfits go from flirty and fun to monochrome and pastel as the dynamics of her relationship with Siddhant change in the film.
