Dharma Productions’ latest release Jug Jugg Jeeyo starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, Neetu Kapoor, Maniesh Paul and Prajakta Koli has managed to get the audience back into theatres in droves. The film directed by Raj Mehta and produced by Karan Johar are keeping the cash registers ringing at the box office and has managed to bring back family entertainers back in vogue after several action thrillers and murder mysteries that are paramount on OTT.
Jug Jugg Jeeyo has become the 4th successful Hindi film release of the year. It managed to garner Rs 36.93 crores in its first weekend itself and has crossed Rs 50 crore mark in mere 6 days while grossed $1 million in US and Canada. The film is rock steady not only in the domestic market but also at worldwide box office.

Jug Jugg Jeeyo is also Dharma’s first release in theatres after two years following the coronavirus lockdown. The film comes on the heels of two back-to-back digital successes fro Dharma stable in the form of Shershaah and Gehraiyaan. It has grossed Rs 53.66 crore in just a week of its release.

The film released on June 24 and has managed to become a hit in just a week. Jug Jugg Jeeyo also stars Tisca Chopra and Varun Sood. The film has managed to appeal not only to the young audience but also the old making it a complete family entertainer.
