Legendary playback singer Bhupinder Singh breathed his last at a hospital in Mumbai on Monday at the age of 82. According to his wife, Mitali Singh, he had tested positive for COVID-19 and was suspected to have colon cancer. He succumbed to a massive cardiac arrest on Monday evening. 

Known for his Bollywood songs and ghazals, the singer had a major part to play in the Hindi music industry. In his five-decade-long career, Bhupinder worked with renowned names like Mohammed Rafi, RD Burman, Lata Mangeshkar, Asha Bhosle and Bappi Lahiri, among others. While he is physically not present with us, his music shall remain immortal. As we pay our tribute to him, let's take a look at some of his most memorable creations.
