British-Indian actress, model, and philanthropist Katrina Kaif was born. She is one of Bollywood's most financially successful actresses and has also featured in a few Telugu and Malayalam movies. In addition, Eastern Eye named Katrina the "Hottest Woman in the World" in 2008, 2009, and 2010.

Katrina's Birth Date and Family:

Born on 16 July 1983 in Hong Kong, Originally known as Katrina Turquotte to Suzanne Turquotte, a British mother, and Mohammed Kaif, an Indian from Kashmir. When she was quite little, her parents got divorced. Kaif is one of seven siblings.

Katrina Debut:

Filmmaker Kaizad Gustad, based in London, noticed Kaif at a fashion event. In Gustad's Hindi-English heist film Boom, which starred Amitabh Bachchan, Gulshan Grover, Jackie Shroff, Madhu Sapre, and Padma Lakshmi, she made her acting debut.

Katrina Kaif made her Bollywood debut in 2007's smash hit Namastey London, her second part alongside Akshay Kumar as a British-Indian girl. This was not long after she was admitted into the fraternity. She has earlier acted in the unsuccessful film Humko Deewana Kar Gaye (2006) with Akshay Kumar. But when she starred in successful movies like Apne, Partner, and Welcome, her career graph took off.

Katrina Kaif had two releases in 2016, Fitoor directed by Abhishek Kapoor, and Baar Baar Dekho directed by Nitya Mehra. Whilst the former received mixed reviews. In 2017, she starred in Ranbir Kapoor starrer Jagga Jasoos, a musical adventure comedy directed by Anurag Basu. Her second release of the year was the sequel to Ek Tha Tiger, Tiger Zinda Hai, which was a commercial success.

The two films that Kaif released in 2018 on large budgets were the romantic comedy-drama Zero and the historical action-adventure movie Thugs of Hindostan. Both of the highly anticipated blockbusters of that year, however, did not perform well at the box office. In 2024, Kaif starred with Vijay Sethupathi in Sriram Raghavan's thriller Merry Christmas, about two strangers who connect on Christmas Eve. Two versions of the film were shot, one in Hindi and the other in Tamil.

Katrina Personal Life:

Rumors of a romance involving actor Salman Khan originally surfaced in 2003, although Kaif didn't discuss it until years after their breakup, referring to it as her first committed relationship. Kaif was linked to actor Ranbir Kapoor during the filming of Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani.

Kaif married actor Vicky Kaushal on 9 December 2021 in a traditional Hindu wedding ceremony at Six Senses Resort, Fort Barwara in Sawai Madhopur, Rajasthan.
