When Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber reunited at Selena's L.A. home, buzz was that they were simply picking up the threads of their old friendship and not rekindling a romantic relationship. This was supposedly something that Selena’s beau, Abel Tesfaye - better known by his stage name The Weeknd - was apparently okay with as well. However, now it turns out that the ‘Starboy’ singer was not too thrilled about the budding friendship, given how close the two have become so quickly. Even though he and Selena had apparently been deciding to call time on their relationship since summer, her being spotted looking cosy with Justin had not got down too well with Abel.

Fortunately for the newly-single singer he will have less time to brood over Selena’s behaviour, considering he has renewed his relationship with his ex, Bella Hadid! He has been photographed leaving his supermodel ex-girlfriend's apartment in New York City on Tuesday night. This comes just a few weeks after he and Selena had split, and she started to hang out with her ex, Justin Bieber.

Word has it that just like Gomez and Beiber, The Weeknd and Hadid have been ‘hanging out’ as well, even though they too are not officially back together. Apparently, they have been in touch since Abel and Selena split. He supposedly reached out to Bella asking if they could catch up, and she wasn’t averse to the idea of seeing where things went. While they are enjoying each other’s company and having fun together, they are taking it slow when it comes to reviving their romance. The two are said to share a great connection, and Abel has not been exactly secretive of his feelings for her. His being spotted sprinting out of her apartment has naturally sparked rumours that love might well be in the air again.

Meanwhile, Gomez and Beiber have been spotted at the scenic Lake Balboa in Los Angeles, where they had been sighted five years ago, enjoying a popsicle treat. They too are apparently taking a more low-key approach to their relationship, even as they have been photographed multiple times riding bikes, heading to dinner and attending church together.
