The sequel to Wreck-it Ralph is the new comedy-adventure called Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph. The first film of the franchise came out in 2012 and the makers had been planning on this one since then.
The teaser trailer begins with Ralph and his sidekick a.k.a best friend Vanellope von Schweetz find themselves on a roller coaster ride that ends in the ‘internet world’. This happens when the owner of the cyber gaming centre connects his system with the ‘WiFi’ router and click on the ‘internet’ icon. And Ralph pretty much says what we had, back in the day “Holy Cow! Look at all this stuff”.

The two then go on experience the witty journey in the Wild Wild West… oh, wait. I mean, World Wide Web. The come across this amazing addiction we humans once had, e-bay shop. While Ralph is trying hard to focus on something he finds himself giving in to click baits and surprised by the pop-up ads. But then there is Venellope, rescuing him from all the drama.
The film brings to light many areas we have succumbed to, in the most innocent and funny way. It seems to be a successful portrayal of the internet generation's existentialism with a hint of subtle satire. Marking the 57th Disney Animation film, it is directed by Rich Moore and Phil Johnston. The first one grossed a whopping $ 471 million. The sequel looks completely hilarious, interesting and thought-provoking (if you will!) and is set to hit the screens on Thanksgiving, November 21st, 2018.
The internet breaks itself with something or the other almost every day. We are waiting to watch if Ralph really succeeds!
