Grapevine is abuzz that Jijaji Chhat Per Hain actress Hiba Nawab is dating Dil Se Dil Tak actor Rohan Gandotra. Apparently, the duo has been dating for a few months now. They are very protective of each other and have consciously avoided posting any pictures of them together on social media, in order to avoid speculations.

However, when contacted Rohan Gandotra to confirm this news, he completely denied it. “I don’t know where this news is coming from? It’s all rumours. Hiba and I have known each other for the last two years but for some reason, we were not in contact. But recently, we got in touch again and we started hanging around. Maybe, that is how this rumour came out. We are just good friends and nothing is brewing between us.”

Talking about this rumour, the actor further added, “When I read these dating reports, I actually started laughing. All I can say is that Hiba and I are just good friends and there is nothing more to it.”

Hiba Nawab too denied her relationship with Rohan Gandotra.  “I am not dating anyone. In fact, I have been single for the past two-and-a-half years. Rohan is part of a common group of friends. We have known each other for two years now and we worked together on a mini-series. After that, we lost touch and started meeting some time ago because of our common friends. Our bonding has been gradual. I don’t want such stories to come out as my mother won’t appreciate it,” the actress said in a statement.

She further added, “I hail from a small town (Bareilly) and she wants me to focus on my work. It’s a huge deal for her to even allow me to work in this industry. Though I understand that link-ups are a part of this profession, my parents don’t think like that. My mother knows that Rohan is a friend and they have met on a couple of occasions. My girl pals will vouch for the fact that I am single. In fact, they want me to hang out with guys because I am always with them.”

For the uninitiated, Hiba was earlier linked with Naagin 3 fame Pearl V Puri. After dating for some time, the alleged couple broke all ties in 2016. Post that Hiba was also linked with her Jijaji Chhat Per Hain co-star, Nikhil Khurana.
