Transformation Trivia! A then plus-sized Tiger Shroff reveals learning his first-ever skill, Anshula Kapoor talks about getting over the ‘most uncomfortable part’ in fitness journey

When it comes to undergoing a fitness transformation journey, it’s always important to choose ‘day one’ over ‘one day.’  Be it climbing a flight of stairs or just making the sheer determination, no matter how small the step is, it will always lead towards a bigger picture. And that is exactly what Tiger Shroff and Anshula Kapoor are vouching for with their latest Instagram posts.

In a throwback video, a then plus-sized Tiger gave us a glimpse of his initial days of gymnastic practice. One could see the actor trying out somersaults with the help of a wall on the beach. Calling the struggle real, Tiger revealed that it was impossible to run on sand all while having a ‘fat a**’ Found an old video of me learning my first ever skill…Gosh that sand was impossible to run on back when the struggle was real especially with my fat ass. #throwback, he captioned the post.

Many fans and friends for the industry lauded the actor for his commendable fitness journey. Mother Ayesha Shroff and Kartik Aryan dropped heart and fire emojis respectively. Actor Rohit Roy said, ‘You’ve worked really hard. Very proud of you’ while Elli Avrram commented, ‘Respect.’

Arjun and Janhvi Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor has also been rigorously working on herself for the past two years. Giving a peek at her fitness journey, a now-transformed and a ‘work in progress’ Anshula opened up on the ‘most uncomfortable part’ in this process. Right from acknowledging the fact that she isn’t in a good shape mentally to seeking therapies, she opened up on overcoming ‘uncertainty, fear, setbacks and self-doubt.’

After all the self-realizations and healing, Anshula said that she had now realized that the shape of her body isn’t tied to her self-worth. “It’s been a 2 year long journey, and I’m still a work in progress. It’s taken me almost as long to realize that my self-worth isn’t tied to the shape of my body, and that constantly belittling or criticizing my imperfections & flaws isn’t doing me any good - regardless of whether that flaw is emotional or physical.”

“I’m still learning to love the perfectly imperfect me that I’m discovering and leaning into, because life is too short to live it thinking you’re unworthy or unlovable. I am flawed, and still worthy,” she concluded.

Her post got love from Janhvi who commented, "Omg honey, onwards and upwards" Sister Shanaya Kapoor and aunt Maheep Kapoor showered her post with heart emojis.
