After launching his exquisite jewellery line, filmmaker Karan Johar has now expanded his horizon by venturing into hospitality. A jack of all trades, Karan is certainly a man with a golden Midas touch. Case in point- his brand new, plush Restaurant Neuma located in Colaba, South Mumbai.
Being a filmmaker with a knack of fashion, one can expect nothing less than ‘luxe’ from the director and that’s what he exactly delivers. Based out of a restored Portuguese villa, Neuma oozes out a soothing vibe with its white walls, wood board floors, colonial-era-inspired windows and vintage art.
Speaking of the food, the eatery offers ‘modern European cuisine at it’s finest' with an exquisite menu serving over 80 dishes.
With every nook and corner conceptualized under the maestro himself along with interior designer Ashiesh Shah, one can experience the joy of fine dining in different sections such as the Sun Porch, the Garden Café, The Courtyard, Blanc, Verde, The Nautica Room, and the Rose Bar. While the Sun Porch is ideal for breakfast, the Rose bar’s ‘red and velvet’ setting can be enjoyed while sipping cocktails with your friends.
Blending gourmet with glamour, Karan is definitely serving us a plush eatery that can easily be passed out as a stunning jewel in the culinary crown. The restaurant has opened its doors to the people from May 12.
