Getting up early without rushing

When the alarm goes off in the morning, avoid hitting on snooze button to get that extra 10 mins sleep. Every time we do it, our body induces cortisol spikes when waking up from a fuzzy sleep that confuses the body. Better to get up the first time!

Set a to-do list for the day

Start your day with a cup of coffee, fresh thoughts, and make a list of all the activities to be performed. Making a list helps your stay focused throughout the day and helps you to achieve all the goals on time.

30 minutes of exercising (Physical & Mental)

Your health comes first! No matter what, take 30 minutes out of your time to do any kind of physical and mental exercise. This can include gym workouts, walking, meditation, yoga, running, or anything you like.

Eating healthy throughout the day

Plan your diet a day prior every day to know what to eat without any worries. And of course, treat yourself with cheat meals on weekends for achieving a healthy lifestyle throughout the week!

Schedule in self care

Practicing daily self-care after work even if it’s only for 15 minutes a day. This will help you feel your best. And that, in turn, will help you be more productive for the next day.

Read books before bed about forming good habits

Well, we know the benefits of reading books, it helps improve vocabulary, improves concentration levels, calms your mind, etc. Just before bedtime, form a habit of reading books about good habits. This will keep you motivated and helps in other ways also.

Reduce your screen time

We tend to spend a LOT of time on screens these days because of our work, social life, and many other reasons. Try to put your phone aside on ‘Do Not Disturb’ mode 1 hour before sleeping. Even if you are not asleep, close your eyes and spend some time alone with your thoughts.
