After four years of appearing to be a victim of Kangana Ranaut’s vicious cut and thrust attack on him in public, Hrithik Roshan has finally decided to come out and speak his truth.
Yesterday, on his social media accounts, the actor addressed the issue boldly and fearlessly. Perhaps also falsely – or so Kangana responded. Step by step, the actor took his readers and fans through what appears to be a web of intrigue and lies. He vehemently declared that while he has worked with the actress, he never met her alone (one on one) in his entire life.
Kangana herself has gone public with her allegation and accusations. Ever the actress, she appeared on TV talk shows, before a live audience in conversation with a celebrity journalist for a leading media house, she took to social media to tear Hrithik apart. He kept his counsel.
But tomorrow, at 8 pm on Republic TV’s talk show Nation Wants To Know with Arnab Goswami, Hrithik reportedly speaks his heart and lets his truth out. Catch the promo here, listen to him say, “I’m not a victim, I don’t consider myself a victim. I know and I have always known that whatever I say can and will be used against me, maybe because of who I am. But I ask myself a simple question every single time – What's the shortest route to peace? I know that there is absolutely no grace in what I'm doing right now. There is no grace in sitting here and testifying for my character and making myself sound right and good and true. And by implication making somebody else appear wrong. I have been afraid that my words would be misconstrued. If I come across as strong they might term me as aggressive. If I might show some emotion they might term me as weak. If I sound vulnerable they'll say maybe he's looking for sympathy. It's been a dilemma in my head. But it's been four years and I think I had enough."
Tomorrow night, 8 pm on Republic TV, the Nation will finally get to know.
