With a brand-new magazine shoot in which the creations of different fashion designers were inherited, Uorfi Javed once again raised the bar of boldness. The outfits varied from an unusual translucent catsuit to a breastplate bralette that strongly matched her vibe. Her vibrant pink hair and bleached brows in the shots are what got people's attention, though.
Uorfi became the digital cover star for The Dirty Magazine recently and the shoot sees her collaborate with six different designers calling every couture piece ‘Uorfi-approved’, the caption said they ‘perfectly reflected her personality’. Styled by Anaita Shroff Adajania, let’s check out all the looks.
For the undisputed queen of DIYs, the first look has to be a black mermaid dress with custom DIY details. The dress was sleeveless with white ‘Dirty’ stickers pasted all over it. Her look wowed us with amazing styling and of course her hair!
Bloni Atelier was the first fashion label that Uorfi ever purchased. A transparent metal mesh catsuit with one power shoulder and one exposed breast that he specifically designed for her, together with thigh-high boots, is just as fierce as her.
The diva wanted to wear a breastplate, a look she had previously attempted to create herself. Misho Designs transformed her metal bustier into this disconnected gold bralette that was combined with a tonne of classic Misho jewellery and edgy on-the-go makeup.
This deceptively basic Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla satin sari, which has its signature embroidery and is worn without a blouse, pushes the envelop for Uorfi with a cutout design at the hip. In India, the designers were the first to feature Uorfi in their own fashion campaign.
One of the upcoming designers, Almost Gods custom-created this knit bodysuit and matching thigh-high boots for her.
The exotic Anamika Khanna outfit which she designed for her is a completely hand-embroidered piece that has been altered with the addition of bands to create a truly unique couture piece.
Rahul Mishra's super-editorial outfit, a bodysuit with exaggerated shoulders that resemble folded wings, was exhibited on the Paris Couture Week runway.
Well, Uorfi has come a long way with her incredible, controversial fashion sense. From making her own DIY clothes taking inspiration from international designers and models like Bella Hadid, Kylie and Kendall Jenner to collaborating with some top fashion designers and bagging covers! Let us know what you think of these looks.
