Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania starrer Veere Di wedding hit the theatres on June 1 and has been appreciated by the audience and critics alike. While the female buddy film was certainly expected to be high on glam quotient, it has perhaps surpassed our expectations with the four leading ladies dressed to perfection in each shot.
Although all the looks from the movie have caught our attention, the wedding attire of Kareena's character Kalindi has hogged all the limelight ever since the film’s release. No points for guessing that elaborate work has gone into making her look so good and we appreciate the effort put in by ace designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla for it.

The off-shoulder, embellished lehenga in muted yellow color with a pearl fringe on the blouse has totally won over our hearts. Paired with a floral chunni and simple ornate jewelry. Kareena looked stunning. But not many know that it is actually a vintage garment that was made about 25 years ago.

This trivia was in fact revealed by Sandeep Khosla on social media. He had shared an Insta story, in which he mentioned, "Veere's wedding garment is actually a vintage garment of Abu Sandeep. It's something that we made 25 years ago. It was lying in our coffers...Rhea came to the factory and we started digging out a whole trunk and taking out old pieces. So then, we just reinvented it. The skirt remains the same. The blouse remains pretty much the same. Of course, it was altered to Kareena's size. Then we created a dupatta and just modernized it slightly. At the wedding time (in the movie), everybody is in AJSK vintage, which is great fun."
