They were handpicked by the LFW advisory board comprising top designers Anamika Khanna, Anita Dongre, Manish Malhotra, Narendra Kumar, Rohit Bal and Sabyasachi along with Dr. Alka Nishar, founder, Aza, Dr. Darlie Koshy, director general and CEO, IAM, ATDC, Gaurav Mahajan, president group apparel, Raymond, Sangita Kathiwada, proprietor, Melange, Mehernaaz Dhondy, editor, Grazia India, Nonita Kalra, editor, Harper’s Bazaar, Priya Tanna, editor, Vogue India, Namrata Zakaria, columnist, Mumbai Mirror, Ashwath Swaminathan, head of innovations, Lakmé and Jaspreet Chandok, VP and head of fashion, IMG Reliance.

Well, Ajay Kumar Singh captures the imagination of mentally-challenged children, turning their creations into motifs.
Anurag Gupta is inspired by artist M C Escher’s ‘Day and Night’ artwork.
Kanika Sachdev says it with reactive prints and embroidery on khadi, cotton, chanderi silk and silk organza.
Shweta Gupta has a modern take on nomadic travellers.
Yadvi Agarwal is inspired by impressionism and Paris.
