After dressing an array of brides in his stunning creations, designer maven Sabyasachi Mukherjee impressed us all with his heritage jewellery and home decor line. But now the ace designer has added another feather to his cap by passing on his Midas touch to an International Wedding Collection.

Making the announcement on his official Instagram handle, Sabyasachi launched the collection with luxury retail chain Lane Crawford, Hong Kong. From couture gowns, delicate veils to flapper style dresses, the collection boasts of 45 looks and to our amazement, the creations are all pristine white. The collection incorporates a variety of detailing, including ivory silk thread embroidery, cutwork silk-floss flowers,  tea-washed tulle along with vintage lace-bits, crystals and Japanese cultured pearls. Inspired by Mary Poppins and Edwardian fashion, we love how he has moved from Indian bridal couture to western bridal line with such finesse.

While his move is not surprising for many, Sabyasachi revealed that it was Joan Burstein, founder of Browns and known to many as Mrs. B, who first suggested that he diversify his collection with a western line in 2004. And it was only after 14 years, he is ready to present his white wedding line.
