It kicks off today at St. Regis with the Gen Next show presented by INIFD featuring fresh fashion from five young designers. And the five-day fashion feast ends with Monisha Jaising as the grand finale designer who will showcase Lakme’s ‘Shades of a Diva’ beauty theme in association with the famed Cirque du Soleil.
The good news is that Kareena Kapoor Khan will be back on the runway as a showstopper, of course. And she is introducing a range of premium makeup products called Kareena Kapoor Khan by Lakme Absolute. The luxurious line comes in a beautiful black and gold packaging and includes a lip liner, pout definer, eye definer, brow definer, lash definer, and face and cheek contour.

Meanwhile, the newly-launched The Platform will present three emerging designers this season. Also, taking forward the legacy of giving fresh faces a chance to take to the ramp, six models will make a runway debut this time around, followed by 29 fresh faces chosen at the plus size model auditions. They will walk for aLL-The Plus Size Store’s show.
Good Earth debuts at LFW with its first couture collection called ‘The Miniaturist’ epitomizing slow fashion and limited to just 27 ensembles created over time where each piece is original and unique.
And day two of LFW is Sustainable Fashion Day celebrating the rich heritage of Indian handloom and indigenous craft, this time with a special focus on Rajasthani and Odisha creations.
