YAY! Burberry vows to stop using fur and goes eco-friendly

Here is a start of a new era as the British high-fashion brand, Burberry is all set to follow in the footsteps of other vegan brands who had made a shift for sustainability. The brand has started a revolution with a promise to no longer use real fur in their collection and to put an end to burning the unsold clothing.

In an interview with a leading International portal, Burberry CEO Marco Gobbetti shared the luxury house's new commitment to ethical fashion, after it was revealed earlier in July that Burberry destroyed $28 million worth of unsold goods in order to protect the brand.

The choice to stop burning unsaleable merchandise is a part of Burberry's five-year initiative launched last year. Also, the brand has already started to - reuse, repair, donate or recycle the unsaleable products and vows to continue to expand these efforts in order to become an eco-conscious brand.

We can't wait to see their fur-free collection!
