Styled by Ami Patel, Ananya recently stepped out for promotions in a pink ‘custom made’ Nauman Piyarji exposed corset blazer dress with kilt pleats detailing on its skirt.
Fashion’s Gabbar, Diet Sabya took it to its Instagram and called out Ananya for wearing a blatant rip off of the corset blazer dress from label Mugler by Casey Cadwallader. This black corset blazer featured a sheer detailing on the torso and sheer knee-length pants.
According to Nauman Piyarji’s Instagram post, this blazer dress was exclusively designed for Ananya until Diet Sabya pointed it otherwise. It even called out the stylist in his post by saying,’ When your stylist dresses you in Mugler from Hill road.’ Funnily, the designer took a patent Mugler style and created a ripoff expecting nobody to notice!
Netizens couldn’t help but draw comparisons between the two creations. Some trolled the stylist and the designer while others expressed that the actress deserved better.
