Louis Vuitton constantly believes in giving back a little something to the society. This time, the brand has paired up with UNICEF to raise funds for their campaigns to help the conflict and disaster-struck children all around the globe.
Contributing his bit for the same, Virgil Abloh, the artistic director of the label since 2018, designed these silver lockit bracelets that might cause a hole in your pockets, but help support a cause.
"In continuation of its #MAKEAPROMISE campaign, Louis Vuitton is committed to raising awareness and funds for UNICEF to support the most vulnerable children around the world. By purchasing the Silver Lockit designed by Virgil Abloh, clients have the opportunity to support UNICEF’s work to provide conflict and disaster-affected children with access to water, sanitation, nutrition, education, health, and protection services. This includes support to Syrian refugees and host communities in Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Iraq, and Turkey, as well as children affected by recent natural disasters," read a statement in the press release.
$100 from the purchase of the $430 bracelet will go to UNICEF's campaigns. the bracelets are available in four colors, namely black, orange, celadon green, and blue with yellow. Inspiration for the same was drawn from Georges Vuitton's 1980 tumbler lock. The bracelets are now available online on their website.
