The fashion industry's biggest names are coming together for a noble cause and of course, for their undying love for all things vogue.
Kicking off the second leg of Carine Roitfeld's CR Runway, this time in a virtual avatar, the diva has roped in sartorial biggies like Kim Kardashian and Hailey Bieber to headline the event and raise awareness about the growing pandemic.
Among the names expected to participate are Virgil Abloh, Karlie Kloss, Ashley Graham, Adriana Lima, Diane von Furstenberg, Alexander Wang, Joan Smalls, Winnie Harlow and more. This will be the second annual CR Runway for Roitfeld, whose inaugural show debuted in Florence last year. Similar to Lady Gaga's global concert event last week, fashion legend Carine Roitfeld invited a slew of designers and models to take part in the live-streamed affair, which is hosted by YouTube's Derek Blasberg.
"We are so lucky to have FaceTime and many ways to see each other's faces during a time like this, and we spoke with each model and worked with them to pull garments from their own wardrobe and provided feedback on which pieces worked well together to create their final runway look,...Nonetheless... we have incredible digital capabilities and platforms that have provided us with the opportunity to host live concerts, late-night shows and now a fashion show," Roitfeld said in a statement.
Fashion Unites will stream exclusively on YouTube on Friday at 4 PM EST, which you can access at CRRunwayXamfAR.org.
