After Cartier’s tutti-frutti bracelet, Sotheby’s to now auction Michael Jordan’s game-worn and autographed Nike sneakers from 1995
Good news, shoe lovers! Renowned auction company Sotheby’s is all set to open an online bid for a pair of sneakers ‘worn and autographed’ by the legendary NBC player Michel Jordan.
Sotheby’s took it to their social media account to make an official announcement for the same. This limited-edition Nike Air Jordan 1 worn in a game from 1995 was exclusively made for the NBA Chicago Bulls player by Nike and later, paved way for other star players to have their signature shoes.
These vintage sneakers were worn by Jordan in its early pivotal stages and bear the Nike Air logo on its tongue along with his autographed signature on its right shoe.
All set to be auctioned on May 17, 2020, reports suggest the pair is estimated to sell for roughly around $150,000, but sensing its popularity, it could quite possibly go for more.
