Online ballet lessons? Thanks to Dior, now you can learn the dance form in quarantine from a Paris Opera dancer

After two months of lockdown, most of us have acquired new skills to keep one occupied. From virtual courses to cooking and baking, we've done it all!

"This slice of escapism provides a compelling taste of the hypnotic discipline treasured by Monsieur Dior - who also notably costumed the Roland Petit ballet, 'Treize Danses'," explained a Dior spokesperson. "Take advantage of this opportunity to learn how to feel and respond to the music, how to improvise, and how to perfect some key positions.

The 18-minute dance class, suitable for any level, showcases Eleonora Abbagnato, a Paris Opera Ballet principal dancer and director of the Teatro dell'Opera di Roma ballet company, who leads the virtual demonstration. Exciting, innit?
