In this self-imposed lockdown due to the global pandemic, all of us can agree that they have dressed up and posed for the camera at least once to feel good. But what if we tell you that your little dress-up game can get you a chance to feature in Miu Miu’s unique campaign?
Sharing the announcement on their social media space, this Prada-owned brand called out all the fashionistas around the world to be a part of its #MiuMe campaign. Check it out:
Stuck indoors in these strange and uncertain times, we have been forced to find new ways of entertaining ourselves. And some of us with unexpected time on our hands and a lack of anything else to do have found ourselves going through our wardrobes, rediscovering forgotten pieces and trying them on again with a fresh eye. Starting today, #MiuMe invites a diverse cross-section of people from around the world - notable figures from the realms of sport, art, dance, and fashion, as well as #MiuMiu fans responding to a call-out on @Instagram - to use their mobile phones to film themselves in their environment. Feel free with your own bits from Miu Miu collections past or present, mix it up in ways you normally wouldn’t and share it with us by tagging @MiuMiu and #MiuMe. Kicking off #MiuMe here is @Harriet.Verney, 27 fashion editor from Stroud (UK), contacting us via FaceTime. Harriet wears dress (Croisière 2019), socks (Autumne 2015), shoes (Fall/Winter 2017) and glasses (Spring/Summer 2017) all by Miu Miu. Art direction by @kegrand. Film by @callthis_number (@Steve__Mackey + @DouglasHartFilm).
Participants had to send pictures from their ‘at-home’ photoshoot or a recorded video in their Miu Miu outfit. By the looks of it, this campaign managed to work wonders. Along with some other fashionistas, fashion editor Harriet Verny along with models Du Juan and Fei Fei Sun were also a part of this Miu Me campaign.
So ladies, channel your inner fashionista and win a chance to be a part of this unique campaign!
