Looks like a pandemic is not the only thing the United States of America is battling against. After the death of an African-American man George Floyd, the entire country has united together to end racism by organizing protests.
In the wake of this situation, Nike tweaked up its tagline ‘Just Do It’ and released a short video as a voice against racism. This multi-million dollar sports brand who has a diverse customer base urged the Americans by saying for once, ‘Don’t Do It.’ Don’t pretend there’s not a problem in America and turn your back against racism’
The rival sportswear brand, Adidas backed Nike’s cause and retweeted its short video in its social media space with a caption, ‘Together is how we move forward, together is how we make change.’
Together is how we move forward.
Together is how we make change. https://t.co/U1nmvMhxB2— adidas (at ) (@adidas) May 30, 2020
This support broke the internet in no time as the netizens applauded their unity and commented that they never thought they would see Adidas and Nike stand together. Some of them even wished for a Nike x Adidas collaboration!
