Featuring Jane Fonda, David de Rothschild and others, Gucci’s first ever sustainable collection – Off the Grid is organic, unisex and soothing!
After opting to go season-less and launching the digital platform Gucci Equilibrium, the Italian brand continues to be a luxury leader by launching its first-ever sustainable collection. This newly launched collection is the part of its Gucci Circular Lines.
Called ‘Gucci Off The Grid’, this organic collection features accessories, apparel, footwear, ready-to-wear, and luggage. Made from recycled, organic, and natural materials that also features regenerated nylon -Econyl, this unisex collection consists of soothing pastels and summer hues.
Not just this, the brand also launched an advertising campaign directed by none other than Gucci’s creative director, Alessandro Michele. Featuring big names like Jane Fonda, Miyavi, David de Rothschild, Lil Nas X, and King Princess, as headliners, this campaign depicts being close to nature.
“The collection is the result of teamwork; everyone has contributed something,” Alessandro said, “And in the campaign too, there is this idea of dialogue between people to build something new. I have imagined that we could build a treehouse in the city center, all together, like children…playing in the park. Because we all need to build this house or find out that our planet exists, even where it doesn’t seem to be there, or it’s far away,” he continued.
