Speaking about the tedious and tiring process of protecting its curations from getting blatantly ripped off, Sabya revealed that his team sends out six to eight notices in a day to get the copies removed. “This has been a very expensive and cumbersome process but it is possible. Each print and embroidery motif has to be registered and we have been awarded by the government for the highest number of registrations. Plus, we have one of the best copyright lawyers in the country,” the designer said.

The statutory Sabya warning indeed!
