Netizens call out designer Tarun Tahiliani for taking ‘inspiration’ from JJ Valaya’s iconic Chevron print; Diet Sabya sheds light

Another day filled with fashion controversy! Designer Tarun Tahiliani recently unveiled his ‘Print series’ featuring ‘rich colours and traditional silhouettes fused with playful floral prints embodying India modern woman’s contemporary yet rooted sensibilities’ This series comprised of bright and boho lehengas, floral printed sharara sets and classic six-yard sarees.

The whole collection put together made for nothing less than stunning, however, one certain piece caught the netizen’s attention for all the wrong reasons.

The piece in question was a Chevron printed floral saree that came with a velvet floral blouse. The internet tribe couldn’t help but notice an uncanny resemblance with that of designer JJ Valaya’s signature style. Many users called out Tarun for taking way too much’ inspiration’ from the latter. Check out the comments:
