Just when we thought we could leave all the bizarre trends back in 2021 and start 2021 with a fresh fashion note, Italian luxury brand Prada came up with something to remember this year. After ripped Gucci leggings and Moschino's baguette bag, we have Prada’s ‘Swiss Cheese’ turtleneck sweater. Now imagine all of this together as an ensemble! Oh, the horror!
Yes, the Italian high-end fashion brand unveiled its yellow turtleneck sweater with holes in them and it instantly reminded us of a Swiss cheese block from our 90s beloved cartoon Tom & Jerry. Priced at £905 (INR 90,000) this ‘Openwork viscose turtleneck sweater’ (read, Swiss cheese), consists of long sleeves and is ‘defined by a precious openwork motif with placed holes.’ A holey sweater that could actually burn a hole in your pocket. Holy hell!

Not the one to sit and let this go by unnoticed, the internet tribe obviously created a meme fest out of this unusual fashion trend. Some of them asked the Italian company if they are in their right mind, others simply compared it to a piece of cheese. Check out some of the funniest responses here:
