Actress Karisma Kapoor has always been vocal about her love for all things handloom and textile. As stated by the stunner, her love for sarees started at a very young age and has only grown stronger. Though Karisma can pull anything under the sun, she has a strong affinity toward Indian handlooms and textiles and has been spotted donning the ethnic creation on multiple occasions.
This time, taking her love for handlooms a notch higher, the actress collaborated with Sanjay Garg’s homegrown designer label Raw Mango and curated a special edit - 'For the love of Handloom and Lolo.' Karisma shared her exquisite edit decked up in creation from the design label that included peplum kurtis and stunning drapes. Check it out.
The actress also opened up on her affection for textiles like Chanderi, Sooti and Varanasi Silk Brocade. She also mentioned that Indian textile and garments have been a pivotal part of her life on and off the screen and she feels feminine and empowered in a saree.
Speaking about the collaboration, Lolo said, “Raw Mango’s vocabulary in textiles has a strong synergy with my preferences - classic, yet contemporary.”
