Fashion label Gauri & Nainika pledge to help battle COVID-19 with oxygen concentrators, receive a thumbs-up from Bollywood

Luxury fashion label Gauri & Nainika proved that there is strength in unity and charity. As India fights COVID-19, the label has set up a fundraiser that aims to arrange for oxygen concentrators when the country needs it the most.

A move that is necessary during a time when the healthcare crisis is at an all-time high, the clothing brand announced the fundraiser to support the work to battle against the pandemic on Instagram on Tuesday. Within two days, it gained massive traction from customers and celebs alike. The brand urged their customers and fans to help with as much as possible in their capacity. 100% of the entire proceeds is to directly go to the NGO ‘Doctors For You.’

Many people from the industry including Bollywood stars such as Vaani Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha shared their post on their own Instagram stories, urging people to help with whatever they can in this noble cause.

Actor Gaurav Kapur, as well as the popular fashion critic Diet Sabya, also shared the cause on Instagram. 

In times of crisis, it is initiatives like this that bring people together and help get better.
