Post the tremendous success of volume 3 of her epic fashion show, Rihanna’s Savage x Fenty delighted its loyal customer base by shedding a light on the possibility of a physical retail store by 2022. Looks like the music moghul will stop at nothing to add a few more zeroes to her billion-dollar lingerie empire and we are here for it!
In an interview with Bloomberg, the brand's chief marketing and design officer, Christiane Pendarvis, said that “you'll "absolutely see some stores in 2022" in the US, without giving away the exact locations. It is reported that the brand would also consider stores in Europe in the future. “Retail is an important part of our growth strategy. Because fit and comfort are so important, there are just customers who don’t feel comfortable purchasing online,” she revealed further. Pendarvis also cleared the air about owning the physical stores and not the kiosks and pop-ups in other retail shops.
Debuted in 2018, RiRi’s Savage x Fenty has cemented its position and made waves in the fashion biz with its all-inclusive cast and diverse range of sizes. With the brand entering the retail space, the dynamics of lingerie shopping are going to change for sure and we cannot wait to see what next the music and fashion wizard brings to the table!
