Ankita Lokhande has been taking us for a stroll down the memory lane ever since she reprised her role in the reboot version of Pavitra Rishta, originally aired in 2009. Right from the characters to the storyline, everything reminds us of the good old days when the OG series revolving around Manav-Archana’s love story took us by storm.
Adding to our nostalgia furthermore, Ankita draped the same blue saree from the first season of the show from 2014.
Ankita shared a collage of herself wearing the same saree from two different years with a caption, “Same saree, same me. Only the time has changed.” In the first picture from 2014, we see a baby-faced Ankita wearing her hair in a loose bun, flaunting red lips and a minuscule bindi. 2021 Archana rocks a chiselled jawline and minimal glam with her wild curls let loose. However, the saree still looks pretty on her just the way it did 7 years earlier.
A reboot version of season 1, Pavitra Rishta revolves around Archana and Manav’s love story, played by actor Shaheer Sheikh who stepped into the shoes of Sushant Singh Rajput. Instead of television, Pavitra Rishta... It’s Never Too Late, better known as Pavitra Rishta 2, is streaming on ZEE5 and is produced by Ekta Kapoor. The series released on September 15.
