Gucci’s highly-anticipated ‘Hacker Project’ in collaboration with luxury brand Balenciaga has finally hit the stores today, on November 15, 2021. Like the name suggests, this collection with witness Gucci’s creative director Alessandro Michele ‘hacking’ through Balenciaga’s codes for its F/W21 collection. As revealed in its runway show in April, the collection will display a wide range of ready-to-wear garments and accessories, along with handbags and shoes. In addition to this, the collection will also feature a lineup of jackets and bags featuring the Gucci monogram ‘hacked’ by Balenciaga logos. The collab collection is now available at selective pop-up stores and will be open for just a span of two weeks.

After celebrating its centennial milestone, House of Gucci is currently celebrating Xbox’s 20th anniversary by unveiling a unique collaboration. The collab unveiled “100 numbered sets, each comprising a custom Xbox Series X console with a GG-pattern laser-engraved, two Xbox wireless controllers in carbon black featuring Gucci’s web stripe in red and blue, complemented by a hard case inspired by Gucci’s archival luggage,” as mentioned on Gucci’s Instagram account. Launching on November 17, the collection will be available at Gucci’s selected stores as well as the official website.

Best known for his role of Seong Gi-Hun in Netflix’s popular series Squid Games, actor Lee Jung-jae has been welcomed on board as Gucci’s global ambassador. The Italian luxury brand, confirmed the news on its social media account with a caption that read- “Jungjae Lee joins Gucci as new global brand ambassador. The actor appears in a portfolio of images shot by photographer Janghyun Hong wearing a selection of #GucciAria looks and accessories." This announcement came after his Squid Game co-star, Jung Ho-yeon‘s appointment as brand ambassador for Louis Vuitton. “His talent, combined with his very personal and well-defined take on fashion, speak to Gucci’s values of inclusivity and self-expression,” the label stated in its latest press release. Fashion-forward K-ombination!
