Gone too soon: Gigi-Bella Hadid to Donatella Versace-Pierpaolo Piccioli, fashion fraternity mourns the loss of iconic fashion designer Virgil Abloh


It is indeed a black day in fashion as we lost a gem from the fraternity. Artistic director of menswear at Louis Vuitton and founder of Off-White, designer Virgil Abloh has left the mortal world for a heavenly abode on Sunday, November 28 after battling a rare form of cancer, cardiac angiosarcoma 'privately' for several years. He was 41.

Sending a shock wave across the fashion industry, many celebs mourned the death of the iconic fashion designer. Tributes started pouring in from supermodels Gigi Hadid, Bella Hadid, Kendall Jenner, celebrities Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja and designers such as Tom Ford, Pierpaolo Piccioli, Donatella Versace, amongst many others.

His contribution to the industry was immense and no matter what, his void cannot be filled. Rest in Power, Virgil. You will be forever missed!
