Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmaah’s beloved character Jethalal a.k.a Dilip Joshi just welcomed another addition to the family. Dilip’s daughter Niyati Joshi tied the knot with her longtime boyfriend on December 11, in a traditional Gujrati wedding ceremony.
Pictures of the father-daughter duo have been circulating online amidst the raging wedding season. While many of fans congratulated the actor, some were quick to notice the bride’s choice of not giving in to the unrealistic beauty standards.
There is no denying that brides face tremendous pressure to look ‘perfect’ for their D-day. However, seems like Niyati did not let this pressure get to her and decided to be ‘herself’ on the most important day of her life. Instead of colouring her salt-n-pepper mane in some trendy or concealing colours, she just embraced her natural hair and tied it into an elegant bun for her wedding day. A soft dewy glam with shimmer lids, nude lips and elegant accessories accentuated the look of her wedding drape.
Netizens lauded Niyati for embracing her inner beauty and not trying to alter her looks, just because she is expected to look in a certain way for her wedding. “Thank you for sporting your grey hair and NOT colouring it due to societal pressure.
