Post its rebranding, lingerie giant Victoria’s Secret has undergone a noteworthy transformation and it reflects in their campaigns! The brand, that was frequently called out for sexism and the lack of representation, is now making attempts to become more inclusive and diversify. Case in point VS’s new collection!
Featuring an inclusive and diverse cast, Victoria’s Secret launched its new collection, ‘Love Cloud’
With a vision to celebrate all women, this collection campaign featured 18 dynamic women from various walks of life, thus exhibiting representation. Along with VS Collective Ambassadors, the campaign highlights women with disabilities, pregnant women, older women and plus-sized women. The ads also featured familiar faces such as top models Hailey Bieber, Adut Akech and Paloma Elsesser as well as Sports Illustrated's first transgender model, Valentina Sampaio amongst others.
After listening to and being inspired by the real needs of our consumers, Love Cloud has been created as a collection that fits everyday comfort without sacrificing functionality or sexiness. With this new line, we are launching high-quality bras and panties in shapes that fit women’s daily needs, in our ongoing effort to develop products that champion women and support their individual journeys”, said Janie Schaffer, Chief Design Officer for Victoria’s Secret, as reported by Hypebae.
Designed to feel as light as a cloud, the new collection of bras and panties provides comfort without letting go of glamour. The collection includes six bra silhouettes and three matching panties, including two adjustable ones, a first for the brand. Keeping inclusivity in mind, the collection is available in sizes 32A-40DDD and XS-XXL, starting from $39.50 for bras and $16.50 for panties.
Launching today, on February 17, the collection will be available both in stores as well as on the official site of Victoria’s Secret.
