Ace filmmaker Karan Johar turned 50 today on May 25 and to celebrate his special day, filmmaker and friend Farah Khan along with several of his close friends from Bollywood descended on his house last night for an intimate birthday eve. While others posted a sweet and heart-warming wish for the birthday star, Farah wished Karan in her own style filled with wits, fun and banter.
The duo has remained best of friends over the years, and are often seen sharing hilarious videos about each other. Wishing the maestro on his birthday, Farah posted another video of Karan that gave a glimpse of his well-organized wardrobe. “Happy 50th to @karanjohar .. most sporting, witty n intelligent friend i hav♥ #karah p.s- apologise for the number of times I said “Oh My God,” read her caption.
In the video, Farah gives a tour of KJo’s walk-in closet loaded with luxe shoes, clothes and accessories. Panning the camera towards Karan, Farah asks if he wants to come out of his closet to which the filmmaker wittily replied, ‘Been there, done that.’ Closing the video on a hilarious 'Toodles' note, Karan said that he is in a deep shock with what Farah is wearing because ‘it’s actually bearable.’ Letting him have the last word on his birthday, Farah signed off the video saying she is actually speechless. Aren’t they cute?!
The filmmaker is hosting a big birthday bash at Yash Raj Studios tonight to celebrate his 50th birthday. The star-studded party will have a red carpet entrance for the celebs and the paparazzi will be styled by Dharma Productions in black suits. Renowned chefs Marut Sikka and Harsha Kilachand have been roped in to see the food and desserts at the party.
