Canadian rapper Drake continues to pay tribute to Sidhu Moose Wala’s memory, launches T-shirt with Punjabi singer’s name and face, proceeds to go to his parents

Canadian rapper and singer Drake paid another tribute to Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala after wearing a T-shirt with the latter’s name and face printed on it at a concert in Canada. On Thursday, the Grammy-winning singer announced that he has launched a special edition tee with Moose Wala’s face printed on it for his fans, the sales of which will go to his parents who can later on decide to do whatever with the funds received.

The Sidhu Moosewala tee is available on Drake’s official website for Rs 5,166 (USD 65). A post on the official Instagram handle of Drake Related said, “Sidhu Moose Wala (1993-2022). We celebrate your life and influence in India, Canada, and everywhere. Rest in peace to our friend and legend. Remembering this legend with a tee available now on www.drakerelated.com. We are working with Sidhu's family to dedicate proceeds from this drop in his honour.”

Drake had sent Sidhu Moose Wala’s fans in frenzy when he had worn a white T-shirt at a concert in Canada that had the late singer’s face and name printed on it along with the text, “Sidhu Moose Wala 1993-2022.” Videos and photos from the concert had gone viral.

A day after Sidhu Moose Wala’s death, Drake had expressed his grief on his shooting and had posted on social media, “RIP Moose.” Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead by sharpshooters in an alleged gang war in Punjab on May 29. His death sent shock waves amongst his fans and the music industry as well.
