Deepika Padukone is back again with an amazing collaboration with denim brand Levi’s. This season’s collection mainly featured streetwear-inspired clothes with cool prints, baggy fit, and statement-making silhouettes. The 36-year-old veteran has had two successful seasons with the brand where athleisure met finesse and wanted to make this third collection as distinctively unique as she could.
The collection featured array of finished ideas that combine both modern streetwear and Levi’s trademark 90’s take using various patterns, textures, and fits. This season, the bottoms become baggier, and the tops get an idealistic upgrade in the form of cropped fits, oversized t-shirts, and sweatshirts with chic details including tie-dye, bell sleeves, and drawstrings that perfectly emphasize the waist. Some concepts includes the XL Flood, ’94 Baggy Carpenter, ‘70s high straight bottom, or the ‘94s fit baggy carpenter jeans.
The third season of Levi’s x Deepika Padukone will be available at select Levi’s® stores, Levi.in and select partner e-commerce platforms from today.
Kanye West parts ways with Gap after 2 years
The Hip-Hop giant and fashion designer Kanye West, now known as Ye, stroke out his deal with The Gap that was scheduled to be intact for 8 more years. According to Ye’s attorney Nicholas Gravente, “Gap left Ye no choice but to terminate their collaboration agreement because of Gap’s substantial noncompliance,” and also made the Associated Press aware that a letter had been sent to the clothing chain this Thursday seeking to terminate the contract between Gap and Ye’s company, Yeezy.
The controversy and break-up all began when Kanye took notice that the retailer had “abandoned its contractual obligations.” YZY Gap stores were supposed to open in the latter half of 2021, the letter said.
The Chicago-repping Grammy winner has taken on to Instagram many times to disclose his interests and conflicts with many companies including Gap, Adidas, and Nike. “This level of control and desire to control things and execute in that way may not be aligned with collaborating with a brand,” said Staci Jennifer Trager, who leads the fashion law practice at Nixon Peabody.
Harri makes his London Fashion Week debut
The twenty-eight-year-old Kerela-born menswear fashion specialist Harri (Harikrishnan Keezhathil Surendran Pillai) got his name written on gold shortly after graduating from the Menswear MA at the London College of Fashion in June 2020. Having conducted several workshops around New Delhi and Mumbai, he found a youngin’ for art, designing, and craftsmanship like no other.
The ever-so-quirky balloon pants that took over the trend once were designed by Harri himself, and he has now cemented himself onto a bigger stage by booking a spot on the London Fashion Week roster.
“I just find it very odd and sometimes funny that I come from a small village in South Kerala with no exposure to fashion. However, my dad used to do artwork for local commercials, which inspired me to sketch and visualize things from a very young age,” said Harri in his recent interview with, who has become a sole inspiration for the phrase ‘From rags to riches’.
Fendi collaborates with Tiffany & Co
The Italian luxury house, Fendi launched the iconic Baguette bag at NYFW to celebrate its 25th anniversary. For that, the brand collaborated with several other brands to give the best out of its collection and Tiffany & Co was one of them.
For the first time in the brand’s history, we witnessed iconic blue on Fendi Baguette. The brand was brought into the LVMH fold at the end of 2020 when the conglomerate acquired the brand for 16.2 billion USD. This is their first collaboration since and is set to be a revolutionary collaboration.
American model Bella Hadid walked down the ramp of NYFW, head to toe in tiffany blue from the Fendi x Tiffany collection. She donned a statin jumpsuit with a front zipper, a head cap, with a tiny baguette necklace, and the bag held by her waist with her right hand. The look was completed with a pair of clogs that also sported the Tiffany blue.
