It was a beautiful dress and extremely heavy, so much respect for women of India: Jennifer Aniston on her ivory Manish Malhotra lehenga from 'Murder Mystery 2'

Jennifer Aniston is indeed a real-life Rachel Greene as whatever she slips into, makes her look oh-so-fabulous. Now making our desi hearts skip a beat, Jen donned a beautiful Indian attire for her upcoming film Murder Mystery 2. For a wedding sequence shot at Hawai, Anniston wore an ivory chikankari lehenga designed by Manish Malhotra.

In a virtual roundtable interview alongside co-star Adam Sandler, Jennifer mentioned that the outfit, which required nearly 3 months to curate was unexpectedly heavy for her. Jennifer’s chikankari Mijwan lehenga bore delicate embellishments and tasselled detailing all over. Her look watput together with a pair of statement earrings and a dainty hair brooch on her messy bun.

"It was extremely heavy and I wasn't expecting that. So much respect for all the beautiful women of India who have to not only wear it, but dance their b**** off, she said. To which her co-star Adam said she ‘looked stunning’ in the ethnic wear. Renowned Hollywood costume designer Debra Mcguire had picked the ensemble for the actor.

Jen also mentioned she had a gala time to dance and eat Indian food. “The dancers were exquisite. It was so beautiful. It was gorgeous. So much fun," Aniston recalled the shooting for the pivotal wedding scene in the film. When asked about whether there is a third instalment in the pipeline, Adam said they are yet to finalize things and added that he would love to visit India someday. "I've never been to India. I would love to be there. My friends have been there. They show me pictures, videos, it looks incredible. We'll talk (about Murder Mystery 3) once that (topic) comes, and we'll figure it out. But that would be fun," the actor said.
