Zeenat Aman might still be away from the silver screen for now but continues to exude grace and charisma through her thoughtfully articulated social media posts. Off late, the veteran Bollywood actress has turned into a fashion icon by making a strut on the runways and now launching her first collaborative collection with jewellery brand Misho by Suhani Parekh.
Called Memento, this collaborative collection marries traditional jewels with contemporary and modern aesthetics. The collection, featuring an etched pendant and ring, bold hoops and chunky bracelets, reinvents classic pieces to be worn as everyday jewellery.
Having her inhibitions regarding the collaboration, Zeenat took her time to come on board with this partnership. “I took my time to agree to this collaboration, but once Suhani started painting a picture for me and sharing her inspirations, designs and concept—I was sold,” she explained in her Instagram post.
‘Dripping’ in Misho’s latest collection, Zeenat modeled the chain link necklace, chunky bracelets, uber sunnies, an etched pendant and rings. “At first I wondered if it was all too “edgy” for me. But as I put it on - stacking bangles, donning sunglasses, slipping on rings, clasping pendants - I remembered my own edge and revelled in it. So what do I think of MISHO? It’s bold and sophisticated. Two adjectives that I am inordinately fond of,” concluded the fashion icon.
