Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom is coming and we are on a re-watch binge

April 15, 1994, and the world woke up to the never-seen-before sight and sound of the prehistoric dinosaurs onscreen. This American science fiction adventure film series based on the novel of the same name by Michael Crichton is centred on the fictional Isla Nublar near Costa Rica in the Central American Pacific Coast. It is here that a billionaire philanthropist and a small team of genetic scientists created an amusement park of cloned dinosaurs… and changed the world irrevocably!
Here’s revisiting the five films in the series…

Jurassic Park
(1993)

A wealthy entrepreneur secretly creates a theme park featuring living dinosaurs drawn from prehistoric DNA. Before opening day, he invites a team of experts and his two eager grandchildren to experience the park and help calm anxious investors. However, the park is anything but amusing as the security systems go off-line and the dinosaurs escape.

Jurassic Park III (2001)

In need of funds for research, Dr Alan Grant accepts a large sum of money to accompany Paul and Amanda Kirby on an aerial tour of the infamous Isla Sorna. It isn't long before all hell breaks loose and the stranded wayfarers must fight for survival as a host of new - and even more deadly - dinosaurs hunt them down.

Jurassic World (2015)

Twenty-two years after the events of Jurassic Park, Isla Nublar now features a fully functioning dinosaur theme park, Jurassic World, as originally envisioned by John Hammond. However, nothing is safe and smooth when there are dinosaurs involved!

Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018)

Set to release this June, a volcanic eruption threatens the remaining dinosaurs on the island of Isla Nublar, where the creatures have freely roamed for several years after the demise of an animal theme park known as Jurassic World. Claire Dearing, the former park manager, has now founded the Dinosaur Protection Group, an organization dedicated to protecting the dinosaurs. To help with her cause, Claire has recruited Owen Grady, a former dinosaur trainer who worked at the park, to prevent the extinction of the dinosaurs once again. What happens next… we can’t wait to find out!
