The trailer starts with a glimpse of the past and moves on to a rather grown up Hiccup who has a beard and an all mighty chief glory now. But, don't worry! The clip looks like a flash-forward which would most likely cap-off the film at the end. The trailer introduces Night Fury, a.k.a. Toothless' soon-to-be significant other, Light Fury who "disappears" after being interrupted by Hiccup and Astrid. The trailer then moves to unveil the hidden Dragon world where Toothless starts wooing the lady... or well, the Dragon lady of his life.

Queue the villain, F. Murray Abraham voicing Grimmel who threatens to destroy the Dragon Utopia Hiccup and his village. The film looks like a fitting end with a heartfelt conclusion to the story and we can only hope it sticks the landing.
The film series follows the adventures of young Viking Hiccup and the rare Night Fury dragon Toothless he finds and learns to train on the Viking island of Berk. The films are loosely based on the British book series by Cressida Cowell and there is currently a TV series, DreamWorks Dragons: Race to the Edge, based on the films.
The third part of the story will pick up right where the second ended -- Hiccup becomes the Chief of Berk while Toothless becomes the Alpha Dragon after defeating Bewilderbeast and Drago.
Directed and written by Dean DeBlois and produced by Bonnie Arnold and Brad Lewis, How To Train Your Dragon 3 will hit the screens in 2019. The film will also feature the voices of Jay Baruchel, America Ferrera, Kit Harrington, and Cate Blanchett in lead roles.
