Robin Wright believes former 'House of Cards' co-star Kevin Spacey will "reach out when he's ready"

In October 2017, Anthony Rapp came out in the open to talk about the sexual misconduct he faced at the age of 14 by Hollywood actor-singer-producer Kevin Spacey. Soon after Anthony, almost 15 others (mostly men) came out to talk about their instances of sexual assault and harassment against Kevin. Following this suit, Kevin confessed to being homosexual. However, things had long fallen down for him.

Netflix's hit show House Of Cards cast Kevin in the lead role. However, with all the statements against him, the digital giant decided to cut all ties with him. He also lost a few films but managed to return on screen with his role unchanged in Billionaire Boys Club. Recently, his House of Cards co-actor Robin Wright, who is seen as Claire Hale Underwood and wife to Kevin's character Francis J. Underwood, spoke to an international portal about her views on Kevin and the entire 'situation.'

Even though it all happened almost a year ago, the wounds continue to remain fresh for Spacey and his near and dear ones. Wright was no different. "I don't know how to comment on that, I really don't. I believe every human being has the ability to reform. In that sense, second chances, or whatever you are going to call it absolutely, I believe in that. It's called growth," she said.

Wright said she felt apologetic for her industry folks with the constant public scrutiny. "I feel sorry for anybody whose life is in the public arena. It's a nightmare, can you imagine? We do a job, we share (a performance) with viewers. Why does our private life have to be public? I hate that part of this industry. I'm talking about media. The exposure. It's an awful feeling" However, a hope still lies for Spacey as she mentioned, "He'll reach out when he's ready, I'm sure. I think that's the way it should go."
