Ricky Martin and his partner Jwan Yosef welcomed a baby girl as the singer posted a picture on Instagram to confirm the news. Along with the picture, Ricky posted an emotional note in which he mentioned that their daughter has been named Lucia Martin-Yosef.

“We are beyond happy to announce that we have become parents to a beautiful and healthy baby girl, Lucia Martin-Yosef. It has been a special time for us and we can’t wait to see where this stellar baby will take us," Ricky wrote in his post. Ricky, in fact, also added that his sons - 10-year-old twin sons, Matteo and Valentino, "have fallen in love" with Lucia as well.

Ricky married Jwan in January 2018. On The Daily Show With Trevor Noah, meanwhile, Ricky opened up about his own personal struggles with coming out as gay, reports eonline.com.

"My friend, you have no idea how it took me a while. The thing is that I was surrounded by friends that were telling me, ‘Don't! Don't come out that will be the end of your career.' It was people that love me, people that mean well and people that were just victims of homophobia. And if you add to that, you know, that I was like a heartthrob, like a sex symbol," Ricky had said in January.
